Mountain Bike World Cup 2 - The XC Album

What an awesome day of riding!  The track definitely lived up to tough World Cup standards, and made for some interesting shooting.  Check out the XC action from today:

So the 4x is done and dusted, along with the downhill qualifiers.  The vibe is awesome, with the crowd getting bigger every day.  Tomorrow sees the XC, with the DH finals on Sunday.  Check out some of the 4x and DH pics from the last 2 days below:

DPHS Mudman 2011 - Thornlea Dam

Like they said...a true mudman!  But in the spirit of things, the athletes were as enthusiastic as ever, arriving in their masses!  From the little ones, right through to the pro's, racing was fast, furious and fun!  Check out the highlights of the day below.

BMX World Cup 2011 Kicks off in PMB

Went down to Alexandra Park in Pietermaritzburg today for the kick off of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup season.  The weather is finally playing the part, with practice running smoothly today.

Cordwalles Mudman 2011

So when people thought the last event was big...guess again!  With over 1400 entries on the day, the Cordwalles Mudman is claiming to be the biggest multisport event in KZN.  Racing as usual was fierce and fast, with Tyrone White taking another win to strengthen his hold on the series.  Check out some of the images below...

Went to go check out the new World Cup DH course the other day... it's looking good!  The weather made for some interesting (And difficult!) shooting, but was definitely worth it!...  Just posting my 2 favourites from the short time playing with the big lens in the mist.
